We are excited to welcome you to our community of neighbors who deeply love this park. We are a small group, looking to grow. Our main activities while doing clean ups involve picking up trash, pulling weeds, checking and disposing of poison ivy, clearing the creek of debris, and making the space overall more inviting for the neighborhood.

Since Morris Park is mostly woods and water, we like to make the walking trails bigger and make sure it is a nice clean stream at all times. Most of the trash gets dumped around the perimeter of the park. We have trash grabbers, gloves, rakes, trash bags, and garden tools to assist in our clean up. Just bring yourself and some boots or comfortable shoes! Coffee, donuts, and water will be provided for volunteers!

We are always welcoming new volunteers to join our regular activities. If you are from the Overbook or Wynnefield area that's even better! For more information we would love to speak with you about how you can be involved in regular Friends of Morris Park activities. See you soon!
